Set up your artist profile
On first sign-in, NotNoise asks for your artist name. This is the name your fans see, the name on your Smart Link pages, and the name that appears in support tickets. It does not need to match your Spotify artist name yet (we'll connect that next).
Type your artist name and click Continue.
Connect Spotify (recommended)
The setup checklist nudges you to connect your Spotify artist profile next. This unlocks Music Stats, makes Smart Links auto-detect across 20+ platforms, and makes you eligible for Playlist Pitching.
Don't have a Spotify artist profile yet? Skip for now. You can still use Smart Links, Smart Ads, and Distribution. See Connecting your artist for the full deep dive.
What's next
Suggested first actions, in order:
-
Connect your Spotify artist profile (Settings > Artist). Unlocks Music Stats and Playlist Pitching.
-
Set up Distribution for an upcoming release, or create a Smart Link for music that's already out.
-
Look at Music Stats once a week to see trends and find what's working.
-
Submit your next release for Playlist Pitching in the first week of its release.
-
Try Smart Ads once a track is gaining traction.
Common questions
-
Do I need to pay anything to start? No. Free is free forever. No card required.
-
Can I sign up if I don't have music out yet? Yes. Distribution is built for first releases. Sign up, set up Distribution, ship your debut.
-
Can I change my artist name later? Yes, until you connect Spotify. After that, the artist name locks to prevent data mismatches. Rebranded artists can contact support to update it manually.
-
Can I have multiple accounts for different projects? Free and paid plans up to Max are 1 artist per account. Team includes 3 artist seats, with extra seats at $15/month each for side projects, collaborations, and small label rosters.
-
How do I delete my account? Settings > Privacy > Delete account. We export your data first if you want it. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your Smart Links.
