Distribution overview

Upload your music once and reach Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and 100+ other DSPs worldwide.

What distribution is

You upload your finished track once. NotNoise ships it to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, TikTok, and 100+ other streaming platforms worldwide. You set the release date. We handle the delivery, the metadata validation, and the takedowns if you ever need them.

Distribution lives inside the same dashboard as your Smart Links, Music Stats, Playlist Pitching, and Smart Ads. One login, one workflow.

Who it's for

Independent artists shipping their first single. Working artists releasing on a schedule. Small labels managing rosters. If you own your masters and want to distribute them yourself, you can use NotNoise Distribution.

What you get

  • Worldwide coverage — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, TikTok, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Anghami, Boomplay, NetEase, and 100+ more.
  • Real-time delivery status — see where each release is in the pipeline: draft, submitted, in delivery, live.
  • Metadata validation — catches the formatting issues that get releases rejected before they leave NotNoise.
  • Takedown control — pull a release whenever you need to, with status tracking through each DSP.
  • Royalty reporting — see what each DSP paid out, in one place, in your dashboard's Revenue tab.
  • Catalog import — pull in releases you previously distributed elsewhere so your full catalog lives in one place.

How long delivery takes

From submit to live, expect:

  • Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal — usually within 24 to 48 hours of submission.
  • TikTok, Instagram (Meta sound library) — usually 48 to 72 hours.
  • Smaller and regional DSPs — anywhere from 3 to 7 days. Some take up to 2 weeks.

Submit at least 4 weeks before your release date to give every DSP time to index. This also unlocks pre-save and editorial submission opportunities that close 3 to 4 weeks before release on Spotify and Apple Music.

The release lifecycle

Every release moves through these states:

  1. Draft — you're filling in metadata, uploading audio, picking artwork. Nothing's left NotNoise yet.
  2. Submitted — you've handed it off. NotNoise validates metadata, checks audio quality, and queues it for delivery.
  3. In delivery — your release is being packaged and shipped to each DSP. The status badge tells you which DSPs are done.
  4. Live — your music is available on streaming platforms. Smart Links auto-detect it. Music Stats starts flowing within a few days.
  5. Taken down — if you've requested removal, the release is being pulled from DSPs. Some platforms remove it immediately. Others take 1 to 4 weeks.

What about pricing?

Distribution pricing varies by plan. See notnoise.co/pricing for current rates and what's included in each tier. You keep 100% of the royalties your music earns. NotNoise doesn't take a cut of streams.
